How does Keyboard Work?

Keyboard-

it is an input device. it is most important part of the computer system. it has own microprocessor that work to change electric current to corresponding binary code or his character value.

Let's start to understand how does it work.

Firstly we talk about the structure of the keyboard. so as we know that keyboard has a bunch of keys.
they have its own processor and structure of a key is

Key Top is the place which one we click. And Plunger is made the connection between Housing and
and key top and Plate is the thing when we click the key the housing touch with the plate and make a flow of current and cup rubber and the conic ring is the thing that gives the flexibility and PCB is the proggramed board which has the wired way for flow the current from key to processor.

let see how does it work when we press it

Here the Housing connects with a plate and makes a current flowable.

When we click the key then the processor finds the circuit closed and it finds the location of the in using character map in PCB and in
keyboard and it sent it to the processor and processor get to understand the code and change it to corresponding Binary code and send it RAM and RAM sent it to the processor of computer and computer change it to the corresponding character and send to the Output devices. the user able to see this character on output devices.

There are many kinds of the conversion method that change the binary code to the corresponding charecter.

Like- ASCII, EBDIC etc.

let see the decimal and hexadecimal value of the key.
This is the keyboard with corresponding Hexadecimal and decimal value.

ASCII (American Standard Code for Information Interchange)-

This is the ASCII code of the individual key's.
